Prior to joining The Vireo Group, Amy was a Senior Associate with CBRE Retail Group where she specialized in the management and leasing of retail properties in Columbia, South Carolina. Amy was responsible for managing ten properties and handled the leasing of CBRE’s managed retail portfolio in the market.

Amy began her career in 1995 working as a Leasing Representative for EDENS, a private shopping center REIT headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina. Amy was responsible for the leasing portfolio of 2 million square feet of shopping centers. The region included South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Ohio. During her tenure, she also served as the Retail Leasing Manager for nine Leasing Representatives and 200 shopping centers in the Southeastern US. Her duties also included lease review, department budget, policies and procedures.

Amy attended Clemson University and holds a Certified Leasing Specialist “CLS” designation and the Senior Certified Leasing Specialist “SCLS” from the International Council of Shopping Centers. Amy is a licensed real estate agent in South Carolina and is a life member of the Greater Columbia Association of Realtors. She holds the Circle of Excellence Awards 1996-2003 and 2007-2009.
